Enduring Understandings
Writers and presenters use specific techniques in order to be informative.
People use information throughout life in a variety of situations and contexts.
Note-taking is a good way to retain information.
Noticing the difference between main ideas and secondary (support) information is important when taking notes.
A summary captures the main idea of something without any of the "extra" information.
Getting a lot of information from different places is helpful when preparing an informative presentation.
