Homework: Be sure that you have at least 15 poems for your book- keep writing your rough drafts
March 14:
Students continue writing rough drafts, editing, and working on Peer Reviews for their Poetry Books
Homework: Complete all 15 rough drafts for the poems required for your book. (You should already have this many, but if you don't get to writing- and if you do, add more!!!)
March 17:
1. Check poems (everyone should have AT LEAST 15)
2. Peer-edits
3. Ms. Pinyan edits
4. Begin writing in poetry notebooks
**Remember all of the elements of poetry while you're writing in your book
Homework: Have all poems that you're going to put into your book ready- they should all be edited and correct (100%) before going into the book- be sure you have ALL of your poems ready to be put into your poetry book

Complete all final drafts of poems, add drawings, practice reading poems aloud (Key Assignment is Friday)
